Experimental short. Explores before, during, and the result of violent ravishment experienced through a fourteen year old girl. This differs from the average "girlhood" experience. Exploring what it means to have something sacred forcefully taken from you.
All pictures, objects and written words are personal items that weren't intended to be showcased in such a way. In the making of this short, intimacy and vulnerability became engrained into the creation. Along with this also comes experimentation with mixed media and stop motion. The idea of taking each frame one by one reflects the way we see our memories; short flashes of imagery.
